Getting a Head Start on Arthritis Awareness Month: PopSockets Is Helping Move the Needle
Order your phone grip by March 31, 2018 to support the Arthritis Foundation!
Though National Arthritis Month isn’t until May, the Arthritis Foundation is already putting an even brighter spotlight on America’s #1 cause of disability.
2018 marks the Arthritis Foundation’s 70th anniversary. As always, we’re standing up for people with arthritis, raising awareness about the disease and providing practical help and support to the growing number of Americans who battle this debilitating condition. We’ve achieved amazing milestones through the years.
What makes raising arthritis awareness in May any different from the rest of the year? Because in May, many partners help amplify our voice: the media, other health organizations, government agencies, corporations who believe in our cause. The first presidential proclamation declaring May as National Arthritis Month came in 1972, and we’ve escalated the fight against arthritis every year since.
Wouldn’t it be great to extend this movement to last all year long? Yes!
We’re thrilled that PopSockets is on board. Making fashionable phone grips that help people with arthritis grip their phones more comfortably and securely, PopSockets has joined us in calling everyone to “Let’s Get a Grip on Arthritis.”
PopSockets is donating 10 percent of their first quarter online net proceeds to the Arthritis Foundation’s work to advance research, resources and finding a cure. Place your order by March 31! The PopSockets phone grip has earned the Foundation’s Ease of Use Commendation.
PopSockets founder, David Barnett, says his company is on a mission to do good: “It's one thing to make DoDads, but it's even better to have a division focused on DoGoods. We're dedicated to helping people with movement disorders live better.”
“Let’s Get a Grip on Arthritis” means changing some sobering statistics.
That’s why “Let’s Get a Grip on Arthritis” needs to be heard loud and clear across the country. And why we wanted to get a head start on National Arthritis Month in May. We’re grateful to PopSockets for bringing more attention to our cause and raising money to help change lives. Thank you for your support!
