Generous Paid Time Off and Holidays

Meaningful Learning Experiences

The Arthritis Foundation provides a learning experience that’s meaningful, with practical work related to a student’s field of study or career interest. We welcome interns from a variety of majors throughout the year to various departments. Student interns will gain a working knowledge in a variety of areas which may include nonprofit management, community and volunteer engagement, science and fundraising.

How can I ensure my resume gets reviewed by a recruiter?

How can I prepare myself for an interview at the Arthritis Foundation?

We are always interested in learning how you can contribute to the Arthritis Foundation’s mission. Read through the essential job duties and background, and be prepared to share your related experiences and examples so that interviewers can relate to you.

What is the typical interview process like?

We take hiring the right people very seriously and do as much as we can to ensure the fit is right for us and for you. Our process usually starts with a phone interview with the Director, Talent Management, and completion of an online questionnaire. That step is typically followed by a video interview with the hiring manager and potentially a panel interview with the team. Lastly, the finalist will meet with the Department Head as a final step.

How would I know if a position is remote?

We identify remote opportunities several ways. Many of our opportunities will have the work location listed or the job posting will be listed in the city where the opportunity is located; however, in the job description it will be listed as Remote.

What does this job pay?

The Arthritis Foundation reviews compensation for all positions and adjusts to ensure our salary ranges are competitive with the market. Additionally, salary for each job differs based on the qualification, skills and years of required experience for the job. We are transparent by listing the salary range in the position description. 

Does the Arthritis Foundation conduct background checks?

Yes, we conduct background checks on all new hires before their start date. A typical background check will include social security verification, criminal records and motor vehicle records for positions that have a daily driving component, 7-year employment and reference verification. Certain positions also require a credit check.
