It’s Official: Matt Iseman Announces He Will Be Fighting for the Arthritis Foundation on “The New Celebrity Apprentice”!
He’s a standup comedian, a doctor (yes – a real doctor!), a Princeton grad, and he helps people conquer obstacles as co-host of “American Ninja Warrior,” among other things. That’s a pretty amazing resume. As if that wasn’t enough, Matt Iseman also conquers his own personal battles every day, because he has arthritis. Matt has been living with rheumatoid arthritis for years, and through his experiences, he has become a family member to us. He joins us at events across the country and has been a friend and partner in advocating for arthritis awareness and more – helping us raise funds and reach more people about the true severity of arthritis.
Any person would be proud to juggle the list of responsibilities and honors Matt has mastered and achieved over the years, but recently he added another to the list: Matt will be participating in the upcoming season of “The New Celebrity Apprentice,” taking on tasks from Arnold Schwarzenegger himself.
Matt’s commitment to the arthritis community over the years has been deep and unwavering, but today he is taking it a step further. Matt has announced that he will be fighting for the Arthritis Foundation as his charity of choice on “The New Celebrity Apprentice.”
Not only does that mean he’ll be bringing awareness to arthritis and our cause on prime-time television, but he’ll also be competing in challenges to raise critical funds to fuel our scientific research and mission work.
“We are so grateful to Matt and we know there’s nothing he can’t achieve,” says Ann Palmer, Arthritis Foundation president and CEO. “We’re eager to see how far he goes and we’ll be cheering him on episode-by-episode as we follow along on NBC!”
He’s a ninja. He’s a doctor. He’s a funny guy. And he’s also a Champion of Yes. We couldn’t be more appreciative of all that Matt has brought – and continues to bring – to our community.
Stay tuned for updates! We can’t wait to see the season unfold!
