Introducing the 2020 Juvenile Arthritis Conference Theme: Family Reunion, Stronger Together
Do you live with juvenile arthritis? Then you’re part of our extended family!
In 2020, we’ll celebrate connections and spend quality time together at a Family Reunion like no other. From across the country, at one EPIC event, JA families will gather to draw strength from each other and become more powerful than ever. For long-timers and newcomers alike, the National JA Conference is the place to be for fun in the summertime! We are thrilled to announce the 2020 National Juvenile Arthritis Conference theme: Family Reunion, Stronger Together.
A family reunion represents the awe-inspiring strength shown by the children, families, and caregivers we meet, who constantly face and passionately overcome everyday challenges to show their strength. Arthritis doesn’t define us. We are stronger than arthritis — we won’t let it change our lives, change our future or change our path. We are smarter, stronger and bolder than arthritis. We are a JA Family — Stronger Together.
“This year’s theme is about family and connections,” said Adam Vigil, JA Conference Chair, “and the feedback we received from the planning committee was so overwhelmingly positive. We heard things like ‘I remember my first conference and the connections we made were life changing’” The JA Conference connects new and returning attendees into one loving and supportive JA Family. Our goal is to leave no family out. Families from across the country are at different stages in their arthritis journey, but at the conference we are all connected with the amazing support of our Arthritis Foundation’s JA Family. We truly are Stronger Together!
We’re all-in — strongly committed to making sure you have easy access to life-changing resources, community and care. Together, we look forward to saying Yes from here on out. Yes to running. Yes to playing. Yes to just being a kid. Yes to making a difference.
