Registration Now Open for Our 2019 Live Yes! Conference of Champions
We’ve waived registration fees and are offering limited travel awards this month only!
Registration is now open for this year’s Live Yes! Conference of Champions, which will happen in Atlanta, Sept. 13-15, 2019.
This exciting event will inspire and educate Arthritis Foundation volunteer leaders, partners and other supporters, as well as our most engaged Arthritis Warriors from across the country. Together, we’ll highlight the progress and impact of the Live Yes! Arthritis Network, which launched last fall, particularly in the areas arthritis patients care about most: improved physical, emotional and social health and better experiences in health care.
Combining our two conferences, Arthritis United and our Conference of Champions, this Conference brings together the arthritis community – those who are managing their personal arthritis journey and their loved ones – and the volunteer leaders across the Arthritis Foundation who are working in local communities to change the course of the disease.
Not only will we focus on the work of volunteers; we’ll also bring together members of the arthritis patient community who are managing their personal arthritis journey and are passionate about conquering arthritis. Combining these groups will extend our reach and amplify the patient voice, making this expanded event even more engaging. This year’s national event is being expanded from two to three days to cover even more topics.
The conversations sparked by combining these meetings will further guide us in changing the course of the disease and deepen our commitment to community-level support nationwide. Participants will be able to customize their experience by selecting breakout sessions that match what they most want to learn about in managing arthritis. Additionally, they’ll gain greater understanding of Arthritis Foundation resources and get a firsthand look at all we’re currently doing, as well as future plans, to help people with arthritis live their best life.
Besides celebrating our collective achievements, we’ll salute some of the Arthritis Foundation’s most exceptional volunteers during the annual Evening of Honors. This prestigious ceremony culminates in the surprise announcement of the Foundation’s top volunteer, who will receive the Charles B. Harding Award for Distinguished Service.
To make the Live Yes! Conference of Champions available to as many participants as possible, we are waiving registration fees. For those arthritis warriors needing financial assistance to attend, we’re offering limited travel awards through the end of May. Click here to apply.
Check out the registration website. And sign up today to be part of this powerful gathering of the arthritis community!
