The year 2015 was a year of exciting accomplishments for the Arthritis Foundation. As the Champion of Yes, the Foundation has embarked on a new journey towards a cure for arthritis, which impacts the lives of more than 50 million Americans, including an estimated 300,000 children.

Janet Woodcock, MD, of the Food and Drug Administration says the Arthritis Foundation is making major strides in the quest to discover new interventions for osteoarthritis.
Kristen McAllister: The Power of Yes
Arthritis not only alters lives, but can also be life-threatening. Kristen McAllister, National Young Adult Honoree for the Arthritis Foundation’s 2015 Jingle Bell Run, is trying to learn how to walk again, and being a Champion of Yes is what keeps her going.
Parker Lentini: Hope for a Brighter Future
As a National Youth Honoree for the Arthritis Foundation’s 2016 Walk to Cure Arthritis, 16-year-old Parker Lentini believes being a Champion of Yes brings him the hope he needs to battle juvenile arthritis (JA). Parker has endured more than 25 hospitalizations since being diagnosed with JA six years ago.
Champion of Yes: Ana Villafane
Ana Villafane is an amazingly talented entertainer now starring in the Broadway musical, “On Your Feet.” Ana grew up with juvenile arthritis, participated in Arthritis Foundation JA Camps and is a true Champion of Yes.
Champion of Yes: April West
April West of Atlanta is the Arthritis Foundation’s National Adult Honoree for the 2016 Walk to Cure Arthritis. April shares her story about finding everyday victories over rheumatoid arthritis.
Champion of Yes: Mark Haubner
A longtime Arthritis Foundation Advocate, Mark Haubner of New York is helping break down barriers to affordable health care. Diagnosed with osteoarthritis in his mid-40’s, Mark has undergone several joint replacements and makes conquering arthritis his personal mission.
Champion of Yes: Hannah Robison
Miss America contestant Hannah Robison strongly believes in being a Champion of Yes. As the reigning Miss Tennessee, Hannah is spreading the word to hundreds of thousands of people about how serious arthritis really is.
