Healing Hands For Arthritis® Wins Halo Award!
We're thrilled to announce that Massage Envy and the Arthritis Foundation were named winners of a Gold Cause Marketing Halo Award today at the 14th Annual Cause Marketing Forum in Chicago. The award recognized the annual Healing Hands for Arthritis® event, an one-day fundraising and awareness campaign that takes place at Massage Envy locations across the country. The money raised through Healing Hands for Arthritis® goes to fueling our mission to help people with arthritis live better now, and ultimately, to conquer this disease.
This year’s Healing Hands for Arthritis event marked the fifth successful year of our partnership with Massage Envy. In total, more than 62,000 in-clinic services were performed, raising $1.1 million in support of the arthritis community.

“For five years, our partnership with Massage Envy has aligned perfectly with our mission to be the ‘Champion of Yes’ for those who live with arthritis and bring awareness to the benefits and relief massage therapy can provide,” said Ann M. Palmer, president and CEO of the Arthritis Foundation. “Healing Hands for Arthritis is such a successful event for the Arthritis Foundation and Massage Envy, and to have the annual campaign be recognized by the Cause Marketing Forum validates the power of this type of collaboration.”
To date, Healing Hands for Arthritis® has raised more than $4 million to help more than 50 million Americans, including an estimated 300,000 children, battling arthritis. The partnership has provided the Arthritis Foundation an entirely new network of individuals to reach through Massage Envy members. In turn, the Arthritis Foundation has provided Massage Envy with access to educate their 25,000+ therapists and estheticians on arthritis and how to care for those with arthritis when they come in for a massage or facial.
